As part of my day job, I am helping write/maintain a new blog for the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center. The blog is called Culture Shock, and it has some potential I think.

Hey...the Reduced Shakespeare Company has a new show, Completely Hollywood (abridged). They are touring...any chance of getting it at the TBPAC?? I'm a Jobsite Theater season ticket holder and a fan of the RSC and would love to see them again!! I read your livejournal, so you can post there if you think there's any chance... Thanks!!
Completely Hollywood (abridged) is still in development, and is not yet published. As such, it's also not available to be produced.
As you probably know, Jobsite has produced all of the available (abridged) titles, and we plan on continuing that tradition as the show become available.
Tampa is a bit of a smaller market for the RSC to come to, they traditionally play much bigger cities, where they can play a bigger hall for a bigger fee. I actually spoke to Reed Martin of the RSC a few weeks ago, and they have no immediate plans of coming through this area through at least 2007.
